This restaurant was exceptional. They seamlessly adapted their menu to accommodate my dietary restrictions—no lactose, meat, or gluten—without compromising on flavor. Every dish was beautifully executed; we even ordered the main course a second time, and it was just as extraordinary as the first. Their commitment to quality is unmistakable: fish is sourced daily from a local fisherman, and many of the vegetables and fruits come directly from the chef’s own garden. This passion is reflected in every plate. The service elevated the experience even further—our server was impressively knowledgeable and attentive, making us feel truly cared for and leaving a lasting impression. The beverage program was equally remarkable, with thoughtful wine pairings, including an excellent natural wine, and cocktails unlike any I’ve encountered. The bartender’s creativity—going so far as to bake infused leaves to craft a unique soda—set this dining experience apart as truly unforgettable.

Strong recommendation! Very, very good food, great service. We chose a four-course-menu. What we really liked is the option to get a glass of corresponding wine for either each course - but you don’t need to do that at each course. We would really love to come back. Unfortunately this doesn’t work since we live 1600 km away.

My husband and I spent the night here in Brønnøysund on the way to Lovund. Superb food, service and ambience. We had the 4 course meal with wine pairing and it didn’t disappoint. Loved every morsel. Michelina, Karolina, and Maciek gave comprehensive overviews of each dish and all of the wine. The pairings were top notch. I am pescatarian and Karoline made adjustments to the pairing to accommodate my diet. She also helped us to find an option for our little guy who is a picky eater. Maciek is actually in charge of meeting the fisherman on the docks and hand selecting the fish. Marvellous! I am not often compelled to write a review on the spot when the experience is great it is a must!!! I highly recommend that you dine here. Quite the gem!!!!!

Was on the soutbound Havila cruise when we made a stop in Bronnoysund, Norway. Lucky us that we were able to stop in for a cocktails. After speaking to our server, I wish we had an opportunity to partake in their 9 course meal it sounded amazing and quite reasonable. Cocktails were amazing!

We only had time for a coffee and dessert but that was delicious! The dessert creations were presentend with love to details and the flavours were surprisingly refreshing. Welcoming and friendly staff.

The chili with noodles is deliciously fragrant, and there's a unique creative cocktail as well. The service is very friendly, and the ambiance is great.

A lovely restaurant with excellent food on the Norwegian coastal road. My wife and I have been there twice an we will definitively come again on our next trip to Scandinavia. You can choose between a 4 and 7 course menu with a perfect fitting wine pairing. All 7 courses were very delicious with many details and reflecting the real Scandinavian kitchen.

Excellent food and a decent selection of wines. The menu was very limited with no kids' options, but they offered pasta for the children. Not a cheap place, but you pay for gourmet food.
